The VP, Business Technology role will report to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for providing short and long-term technology strategy supporting both corporate level and business unit objectives. The VP, Business Technology will be a catalyst to transform and evolve technology solutions, bringing new products and services to market. This position will also lead network infrastructure, software application support, hardware support, and internal information management system teams. Key Responsibilities Constantly evaluate current technology solutions, identifying opportunities to develop enhanced internal (infrastructure) and external (services delivery) systems. In partnership with the executive leadership team, prioritize objectives, creating short and long-term synergies where possible, by designing, managing, and implementing corporate and division technology roadmaps that support strategic objectives. Serve as a key contributor to division level technology initiatives, evaluating short and long-term impacts to systems and resources. Determine individual project value proposition, ROI, and resource requirements, presenting and validating cost/benefit analysis to the executive team and critical implementation stakeholders. Develop Key Performance Indicators to evaluate and measure initiative impact to efficiency and/or financial objectives. Serve as critical change agent aligning perspective and attitudes by establishing trust relationships to key stakeholders. Manage a team responsible for enterprise applications, system integration, database support, datacenter, application management, multi-tiered end user support, information security, telecommunications, networks, servers and storage. Establishes technology standards and communicates technical information to the organization. Maintains network of associates collaborating within the industry and general business community to provide perspective to technology challenges, identify technology trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance products and performance. Well versed in all aspects of software, hardware, networking, and cloud-based solutions with the ability to prioritize, drive change, and ensure delivery of solutions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management or a similar degree. Minimum of 10 years of senior-level technology leadership in a diverse, multi-product organization, preferably in mixed media, e-commerce, training, technology delivery or a similar industry.
